GOVERNMENT FUNDED $1.5 BILLION PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT

SOS successfully developed the social procurement plan for the $1.5 billion Victoria State Government Public Transport Ticking System and Services
This Victorian government funded infrastructure contract demonstrates how the state leads the way in delivering social procurement and its weighting. Social procurement targets however are only delivering legacy social and environmental outcomes if successful reporting and auditing is transparent and evidenced. The SOS platform real time monitoring ensures accountability of government funds, while addressing and advocating for societal duty of care through evidenced governance.
The contract included a record schedule of mandatory Social Benefit spend initiatives. The categories of spend that created the record included
